The AWRI specialises in microbial metabolomics, utilising cutting edge analytical techniques and advanced computational technologies to advance microbial systems biology.

The AWRI facility offers:

• metabolomics analysis using liquid chromatography, gas chromatography and high-resolution mass spectrometry in combination with advanced data handling techniques
• method development for targeted and non-targeted analysis of volatile and non-volatile metabolites
• identification of unknown metabolites
• quantification of trace volatiles and sensometabolomics
